Porter Anglais

London’s quayside pubs served porters a mixture of beers (Porter’s Beer). A brown, slightly sweet, low-alcohol drink, it was ideal as a low-cost energy boost! As a souvenir, we created Porter Anglais, a moderately dry beer with flavours of caramelized and roasted malts and a touch of crème brûlée. English hops add a light bitterness to balance it all out.
