The latest version of our Kentucky Uncommon has benefited from a long rest in oak barrels that previously held rye whiskey, renowned for imparting a dry and spicy finish, adding an additional dimension to the roasted rye bread notes of the original beer. The result is a surprising balance where the richness of roasted malts and the roundness/warmth of the alcohol harmonize with the oak tannins in an elegant finish.
