L'Ours Noir
This is our darkest roast blend. We do this roast to express the flavours of roasted sugar and dark chocolate. It can be reminiscent of a fuller bodied, more developed coffee. There is a double roast in the beans to gain complexity. We get to the second crack very quickly. So the outside and inside of the bean have two types of roast. A little bit smoky and rich on the outside, and in the center of the bean, which is less roasted, that chocolatey side. Like all our coffees, the Ours noir is roasted without oil. So it is safe for your automatic machine or grinder.
