LA CORDE DE BÂLLE
This FARMING SEASON rested for 7 months in Cabernet-Sauvignon barrels and reveals flavors of grape and apple with a mineral side on the palate. The use of seasonal yeast and different grains reveals a slight bitterness, sweet malty notes with a dry and slightly spicy finish. The experience ends with the warmth of the alcohol supported by the woody side of the oak barrel. LA CORDE DE BÂLLE, a beer that takes us back to our sources and the cultivation of cereals. In the past, this beer of Belgian origin was brewed at the end of summer with leftover grain to water the workers in the fields. It reminds us of huge blisters on our fingers. Result of the hauling of thousands of bales of hay stacked to the ceiling of La Grange Pardue.
