Piri Piri
Rather piquant, this blend is made with real piri piri, a variety of chili pepper harvested in Angola. It was the Portuguese who first popularized it. Today, you can’t have Portuguese chicken without piri piri, a very hot pepper that gives an incomparable flavor to grilled chicken. It is used to season both the inside and outside of the chicken. Lemon is the perfect complement.
