Quebec Roasted Hazelnuts
These hazelnuts are grown in Montérégie, less than 30 km from Montreal. They were roasted to bring out all their crunchiness and natural flavor. Hazelnuts are a vegetable protein rich in lipids and fiber. Store in a dry place and away from light. Harvest: The harvest of hazelnuts takes place between the end of August and the end of September, depending on the variety. Consumption : Thanks to the Quebec climate, these hazelnuts are not very bitter, ideal in salty or sweet dishes. They can be eaten plain, whole or crushed, ground into nut butter or roasted to bring out their nutty flavor.
