Sunflower microgreens
Sunflower sprouts have a mild, nutty flavor. They retain the flavor of a raw sunflower seed, but also have a brighter, fresher taste. What's more, they're low in calories and high in nutrients: calcium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, zinc, iron and vitamins A, B, C and K. The texture of sunflower sprouts is similar to that of fresh spinach, with soft, slightly robust leaves and wonderfully crunchy stems.
