Traditional Pilsner
Product Description: Exceptionally pale base malt that produces a very clear wort. Light raw cereal aromas, very clean and crisp profile, with slightly more body than our Modern Pilsner. Applications: Suitable for all beer styles, particularly lagers, kölschs, and pilsners. Properties: Under-modified, developed for decoction systems but can be used in standard infusion. Adds body, a crisp finish, improves foam retention, and slightly lowers attenuation. Precautions: DMS risk — vigorous boil recommended. Over 40% usage, risk of stuck mash — temperature rests advised to break down β-glucans and complex proteins. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, ideally between 15–20 °C with relative humidity below 60%. Stable up to 18 months after production.
