From generation to generation
La Ferme Miboulay was founded in 1980 by Louise-Anne Michaud and Jean-François Boulay. From year to year, this couple from Marieville passed their passion and love of work on the farm into their two children, Pierre and Hélène Boulay. These descendants ensured a solid succession in order to take over the reins of the family business of over three decades.

La Ferme Miboulay specializes in various type of products such as grain veal, omega-3 fed pork, young pigeon, flax, stone-ground flour and eggs. The company concentrates its efforts to constantly improve the condition of animals by ensuring their well-being. Thus, they constantly provide a healthy, aerated and well-lit environment. With regards to the food offered to the animals, it is essentially composed of the grains grown on farm land, that is to say, rich in omega-3 flaxseed. Also, in the feeders, you will never find animal or bonemeal, antibiotics or growth hormone. It is essential for these entrepreneurs to provide healthy food to their animals as well as to produce meat without hormones or antibiotics.
The owners have set up a large paddock for calves and pigs to live freely but still hidden from predators. The owners' daily visits ensures the animals have fresh water at all times and unlimited food.
From the farm to your door
For 10 years now, passers-by can buy directly from the farm's shop. A section offering prepared meals such as pies, pâtés and cretons has been set up. All dishes follow family recipes handed down from generation to generation. The mother-daughter duet prepares delicious sausages without additives. Moreover, many of the recipes offered are certified gluten-free and, above all, they are low in fat and preservative free. Undoubtedly, the rustic and warm decor of the shop will charm you. The opening hours are Friday from 11 am to 4 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm.
