In recent years, cider has been going through a revolution: gone is the old idea that it’s just alcoholic apple juice! Producers have shown that it deserves all the attention it’s getting, thanks to their refined, tasty, and easy-to-drink batches. The kind of bottle you’re happy to put on the table for a meal with friends!

A whole week (actually 11 days!) is dedicated to it each year. From May 4 to 14, 2023, a wave of cider will sweep across the province during Quebec Cider Week, now in its 7th edition. Producers, retailers, media, bars, and restaurants come together to celebrate this delicious local drink. Several of our restaurants in the Aliments du Québec au menu program will participate with tasty activities like tastings, brunches, and pairings.
