The Rendez-vous des institutions is intended for institutions and partners within the institutional sector. Organized by Aliments du Québec as part of its Aliments du Québec au menu program, this annual event aims to inspire and equip institutions in their local sourcing efforts.

CONFERENCE
Purpose-driven leadership: Nourishing our communities and taking action together
Presented by Annie Gauvin, CEC, Gestion Ænima, as part of L’Académie des transitions, this conference offers an inspiring reflection on purpose-driven leadership and the role of institutions as tangible levers for local procurement. Through an immersive approach, participants will be invited to recognize their impact, move from intention to action, and harness the strength of collective effort.
The conference will be followed by a panel discussion featuring three change-makers from the institutional sector, continuing the conversation and fostering dialogue around concrete, meaningful practices.

Practical strategies to optimize the use of local products already being purchased, discover new Québec-made products, and adapt recipes to the realities of institutional kitchens.

B2. A Social Innovation Approach to Promoting Local Food Procurement in High-Volume Food Services
Facilitated by the Centre d’innovation sociale en agriculture (CISA)
Initiatives that mobilize the entire supply chain — from field to plate — to drive organizational change that supports local purchasing.

The event venue is easily accessible by car and public transit. Several indoor and outdoor parking facilities are located nearby, and the Place-des-Arts station metro station is just a few minutes’ walk away.
Please note that the date and location of the Rendez-vous des institutions were selected to align with SIAL Canada, taking place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from April 29 to May 1, 2026. This timing helps facilitate travel for institutions already heading to Montréal and offers a complementary event showcasing Québec products tailored to the institutional sector.
