Founded in 1969 by Ashton Leblond with a simple French fry stand, the chain quickly established itself through quality homemade fare and attentive service, notably popularizing poutine starting in 1972. The chain, which now has about twenty locations concentrated in the greater Québec City area, was taken over in 2022 by Émily Adam and Jean-Christophe Lirette, a couple of entrepreneurs from the Portneuf region determined to continue the same approach of proximity and quality. The mission remains the same: to offer distinctive, fresh and comforting dishes that are the pride of Québec fast food.
