Benny&Co. is a family story that began in 1947, when Joseph-Georges Benny discovered his passion for poultry farming in Sainte-Mélanie. With his brothers, he founded Benny et Frères Limitée, and in 1960, the family opened its first rotisserie, equipped with a rotary spit oven invented by Gilles Benny — the first three-hour slow-cooking oven, still used today. After a second generation that multiplied restaurants in the 70s and 80s, Benny&Co. was created in 2006 to bring together the various family locations. The third generation continues the adventure by supporting local producers, creating the Benny&Co. Foundation and focusing on traceability, freshness and the quality of Québec foods.
