Chez l'artisan
In a 1809 presbytery in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Chez L'Artisan offers locavore bistro cuisine. Chef Éric Bellemarre showcases up to six local producers per plate, with creativity and authenticity.
Chez L'Artisan is located in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, within the Manoir Ramezay, a former presbytery dating from 1809. Chef-owner Éric Bellemarre, a culinary artisan with over 24 years in the restaurant industry, has offered bistro-style cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere since August 2013. After eight years in French cuisine, he developed his own creations with a locavore philosophy: each dish can showcase more than six different producers. The creativity is reflected in taste, visuals and aroma, in a uniquely charming setting.
