ERABLIÈRE JEAN PARENT
A family sugar shack in Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare, L'Érablière Jean Parent serves all-you-can-eat dishes cooked on the wood stove since 1960. Pea soup, oreilles de crisse, sugar pie and maple syrup flowing freely.
L'Érablière Jean Parent has welcomed visitors in Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare since 1960. Taken over in 1985 by Francine, Johanne and Louis-Charles Parent, the sugar shack perpetuates family hospitality with warm and courteous service. In two large dining rooms, guests enjoy all-you-can-eat dishes cooked on the wood stove: pea soup, old-fashioned cretons, smoked ham, baked beans, oreilles de crisse, sugar pie, puffed crêpes, maple fudge and eggs in syrup. Maple syrup flows freely and loyal customers return every spring.
