A product bearing the “Aliments du Québec” logo is grown, raised, or processed in Québec, using at least 85% ingredients of Québec origin. To fully uphold this promise: all main ingredients must come from Québec, and key processing steps and packaging must take place within the province.

For example: strawberries grown locally, pork raised locally, or cheese, apple juice, tofu, or vegetable oils made here.

This certification mark reflects the pride and commitment of companies that showcase the richness of Québec’s terroir and local expertise.

Aliments préparés au Québec

For products entirely processed in Québec, using ingredients from here and elsewhere. They reflect the know-how and innovation of local businesses that develop products tailored to Québec consumers’ tastes.

For example, a sauce or beverage prepared in Québec, locally roasted coffee, or a nut mix illustrate this expertise in food processing.

Note that, when available, the main ingredients must be of Québec origin. For example, in a cranberry muffin, the cranberries must come from Québec.
